Brazil and Paraguay booked their tickets to the 2015 Beach Soccer World Cup by reaching the final of the South American qualifying tournament in Manta, Ecuador.
The Canarinho sealed their passage in emphatic style, with a resounding 14-1 win over hosts Ecuador in the semi-final to progress. Fernando DDI, Sydney, Daniel, Datinha, Mauricinho and Bruno Xavier were among the scorers as the four-times Beach Soccer world champions strolled through.
The other semi-final was a tighter affair, but Paraguay sealed a victory over Argentina which will see them begin to make their preparations for Portugal. The Rojiblancos went 2-0 up before the Albiceleste pulled one back. It served to be a consolation though, as the Paraguayans stretched their advantage, finishing with a 4-1 victory.
Argentina and Ecuador will play-off for the final Beach Soccer World Cup place on Sunday, with Brazil and Paraguay meeting to determine the victor of the qualifying tournament.
